The Greek gods represented fundamental elements of the universe:

  • Chaos: The void or chasm from which everything originated.
  • Gaia: Earth personified, the great mother of all life.
  • Uranus: The sky, Gaia's consort, and the first ruler of the cosmos.
  • Nyx: Night personified, a mysterious and powerful figure.
  • Erebus: Darkness, often paired with Nyx.
  • Tartarus: The abyss beneath the underworld, a place of punishment.
  • Aether: The upper air or light, representing the divine atmosphere.
  • Hemera: Day personified, the counterpart of Nyx.
