Primordial Deities
The Greek gods represented fundamental elements of the universe:
- Chaos: The void or chasm from which everything originated.
- Gaia: Earth personified, the great mother of all life.
- Uranus: The sky, Gaia's consort, and the first ruler of the cosmos.
- Nyx: Night personified, a mysterious and powerful figure.
- Erebus: Darkness, often paired with Nyx.
- Tartarus: The abyss beneath the underworld, a place of punishment.
- Aether: The upper air or light, representing the divine atmosphere.
- Hemera: Day personified, the counterpart of Nyx.
